Suneja announced that he is honored to join the Board of Directors of Samsonite Group S.A. as an Independent Non-Executive Director.
He has served on the company’s board since June 2026 and will contribute to strategic oversight, governance, business growth, and long-term value creation initiatives.

Suneja currently serves as Group CEO and Executive Director of Perfetti Van Melle Group B.V., a position he has held since 2013.
Under his leadership, Perfetti Van Melle has continued to strengthen its position as one of the world’s largest confectionery and chewing gum manufacturers, operating across numerous international markets.
As Group CEO, he has been responsible for driving business growth, innovation, brand expansion, operational excellence, and strategic transformation initiatives across the global organization.
Nearly Three Decades with Perfetti Van Melle
His association with Perfetti Van Melle spans almost three decades.
Before becoming Group CEO, he served as:
- Executive Vice President – Global Innovations and Business Development
- Managing Director, Perfetti Van Melle India
- Various leadership roles in marketing across India and Italy
Throughout these assignments, he played a critical role in product innovation, market expansion, brand development, and business strategy execution.

Prior to joining Perfetti Van Melle, Suneja held brand management positions with leading consumer brands.
His earlier career included roles as:
- Brand Manager at Frito-Lay India, a PepsiCo subsidiary
