The Government of India has appointed Shri Satish Golcha, IPS, as the new Commissioner of Delhi Police.
Shri Golcha, a senior IPS officer with an extensive career in law enforcement, will now be leading the Delhi Police in its mission to ensure public safety, law and order, and modern policing practices in the national capital.
He succeeds the outgoing commissioner and is expected to bring his vast administrative and operational experience to further strengthen policing in Delhi.
Shri Satish Golcha has previously held several key positions in the police force, where he has been recognized for his leadership, dedication, and service.
His appointment marks a significant step in continuing the efforts of Delhi Police to enhance security, build stronger community engagement, and adopt technology-driven policing for the city’s citizens.
