Sukhvinder Kaur has assumed charge as Deputy Managing Director – Operations-Channel Management at State Bank of India, marking another significant leadership milestone in her distinguished banking career spanning more than three decades.
In her new role, she will focus on strengthening customer experience, operational efficiency, and service excellence across the bank’s large-scale banking and channel management ecosystem.

Sukhvinder Kaur brings more than 34 years of experience across banking operations, business leadership, administration, and customer banking services.
Throughout her long association with SBI, she has consistently held senior leadership positions across multiple strategic functions.
Her previous roles include:
- Chief General Manager
- General Manager
- Deputy General Manager – Personal Banking
- Assistant General Manager
- Regional leadership assignments across multiple states
International and Operational Leadership Exposure
She also held an international leadership role as Senior Vice President & Regional Manager at State Bank of India (California) in Los Angeles.
During her tenure there, she was responsible for:

- Customer banking services

across SBI California’s banking network in the United States.
