UiPath Appoints Arjun Laxminarasu as Head of Marketing for India and South East Asia

UiPath, the global enterprise automation and AI leader, has appointed Arjun Laxminarasu as Head of Marketing for India and South East Asia, effective immediately. This strategic hire comes as the company intensifies its focus on accelerating growth in two of its most dynamic regions, where enterprises are increasingly adopting intelligent automation to transform operations.
With over 15 years of deep expertise in enterprise technology marketing across cloud, SaaS, and analytics sectors, Laxminarasu is well-positioned to lead UiPath’s regional marketing transformation. Most recently, he spent nearly six years at ServiceNow, progressing from Senior Manager to Director, and finally Senior Director, Marketing, India. In these roles, he orchestrated comprehensive marketing strategies encompassing brand building, account-based marketing (ABM), demand generation, and high-impact C-suite engagement programs, significantly scaling ServiceNow’s presence in the Indian market.
Earlier in his career, Laxminarasu served as Head of Marketing for India & SAARC at data analytics pioneer Qlik, where he spearheaded go-to-market strategies and ecosystem partnerships. He also contributed to Salesforce’s early India expansion through inside sales-led demand generation and began his professional journey at Accenture as an Operations Analyst supporting marketing communications for the UK and Ireland regions.
Sharing his enthusiasm on LinkedIn, Laxminarasu stated, “After several transformative years building and scaling marketing at ServiceNow, I’m excited to share that I’ve joined UiPath as Head of Marketing, India & South East Asia.” He highlighted UiPath’s unique position “at the intersection of AI, automation, and real operational transformation,” praising the company’s clear vision, talented teams, and expansive growth potential in the region.
This appointment follows UiPath’s pattern of bolstering its India and South Asia leadership, succeeding previous executives like Rajesh Kumar, who held the VP Marketing role until 2023. Laxminarasu’s mandate will emphasize driving pipeline growth, elevating brand thought leadership, and forging deeper ecosystem alliances to position UiPath as the go-to partner for AI-driven automation in enterprises across India and Southeast Asia.
