Before joining Naxatra Labs, Vijay Nair spent over eight years at iCreate, the International Centre for Entrepreneurship and Technology. During his tenure, he led HR and administration functions, overseeing campus operations, statutory compliance, budgeting, vendor management, infrastructure planning, and large-scale institutional growth initiatives. His work focused strongly on operational efficiency and improving overall employee experience.
Prior to iCreate, he served for more than a decade as Head of Administration at the Centre for Organization Development. In this role, he managed strategic planning, facilities management, compliance frameworks, vendor governance, and institutional operations, contributing to long-term organisational stability and governance maturity.
Earlier in his career, Vijay worked as a freelance consultant for educational institutions and regulatory bodies. He also held leadership responsibilities at BONNIE FOI Group of Educations as Head of Operations, where he managed university examinations and academic administration. His professional journey began with entrepreneurial exposure as a Catering Contractor with Lupin, providing him with a strong grassroots understanding of operational execution.
