Tata Power Executive Takes Over Leadership of SEUPPTCL
Subodh Dixit has assumed charge as Chief Executive Officer of South East U.P. Power Transmission Co. Ltd., marking a significant leadership transition in India’s power transmission sector.
The appointment of Subodh Dixit SEUPPTCL comes as the company continues to strengthen transmission infrastructure, operational efficiency, and grid reliability across Uttar Pradesh.
In his announcement, Dixit expressed gratitude to the leadership of Tata Power for entrusting him with the responsibility and emphasized his commitment to strengthening transmission networks, driving operational excellence, and supporting India’s growing energy infrastructure.
Leading a Critical Power Transmission Network
SEUPPTCL plays a crucial role in Uttar Pradesh’s power ecosystem, supporting the evacuation and transmission of large-scale power generation across the state.
The company’s transmission network currently facilitates the evacuation of more than 4,000 MW of thermal power generated within Uttar Pradesh.
Its infrastructure includes 765 kV and 400 kV transmission lines, along with 765 kV and 400 kV substations that serve as critical components of the state’s power transmission backbone.
The network also operates substations with a combined transformation capacity of 3,460 MVA and supports approximately 1,517 circuit kilometres of operational transmission lines.
Extensive Experience Across the Power Sector
Dixit brings more than two decades of experience across power transmission, renewable energy, electrical infrastructure, and utility operations.
Before assuming the CEO role, he held several leadership positions within Tata Power, including Group Head and State Head – Operations at TP Renewable Microgrid Ltd.
His professional journey also includes leadership and project management roles with Blue Star Limited, Welspun Solar, Moser Baer India Limited, ABB, and NDPL.
Focus on Operational Excellence and Grid Reliability
Throughout his career, Dixit has worked extensively across power infrastructure development, transmission projects, renewable energy deployment, and operational management.
