Roy brings nearly three decades of leadership experience across enterprise technology, telecommunications, government business, wholesale telecom, customer services, and business development. In his new role, he will focus on driving operational excellence, business growth, and strategic expansion while supporting Ishan Technologies’ next phase of growth.

His appointment reflects Ishan Technologies’ continued investment in experienced leadership as enterprises increasingly adopt cloud, AI-ready infrastructure, network connectivity, and digital transformation solutions.
Brings Extensive Leadership Experience Across Enterprise Technology
Before joining Ishan Technologies, Roy served as India Vertical Head – Manufacturing, Retail and Distribution (MRD) at ServiceNow.
Earlier, he was Senior Vice President and National Head – Government and ISP Business at Airtel Business, where he led the company’s government, PSU, and internet service provider business across India.
During his long tenure with Airtel, he also served as Senior Vice President and Business Head for North and East India, along with leading the Wholesale Business for Airtel Global Business.
Proven Track Record in Telecom and Digital Infrastructure
Roy has held several senior leadership positions across India’s telecom and technology sector.
His previous experience includes leadership roles at Tulip Telecom, Tata Communications, Videsh Sanchar Nigam Limited (VSNL), Bharti Airtel, HFCL Infotel Ltd., Bharti Cellular, and Network Limited.
Throughout his career, he has led enterprise business, international business, wholesale telecom, market development, customer services, and strategic growth initiatives while helping organizations expand their enterprise technology capabilities.
