Netskope, a global leader in cloud security and SASE (Secure Access Service Edge), has announced the elevation of Ajay Gupta as its new Vice President and Regional Head for the SAARC region. The move comes as part of the company’s broader strategy to accelerate growth and deepen customer engagement across South Asia.
In his new role, Gupta will spearhead Netskope’s operations across the SAARC countries, including India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, and the Maldives. He will be responsible for driving business expansion, enhancing regional partnerships, and guiding the adoption of Netskope’s security solutions in both public and private sector organizations.
Ajay Gupta brings with him over two decades of experience in cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise IT strategy. His previous role as Country Manager for India and SAARC saw him playing a pivotal part in Netskope’s rapid regional expansion, helping enterprises modernize their security frameworks amidst rising threats and increasing regulatory demands.
“Netskope’s vision for the SAARC region is ambitious, and I’m honored to take on this expanded role at such a transformative time for the industry,” said Gupta. “With cloud adoption and digital transformation in full swing across South Asia, organizations are actively seeking scalable and intelligent security platforms. Netskope is uniquely positioned to meet that demand.”
Under Gupta’s leadership, Netskope aims to strengthen its presence in key markets, support local innovation, and invest in talent and partnerships to build a secure digital ecosystem. The company has been increasingly focusing on zero-trust architecture, AI-driven threat detection, and cloud-native solutions tailored to modern enterprise needs.
