The Government of Haryana has issued orders assigning Arun Kumar Gupta, IAS (1992 batch, Haryana cadre), currently serving as Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, additional responsibilities within the state administration.
As per the latest notification, Shri Gupta has been entrusted with the charge of:
Additional Chief Secretary, Urban Local Bodies Department, Haryana, and
Member Secretary, Kurukshetra Development Board, Kurukshetra
These responsibilities come in addition to his existing role and are aimed at strengthening administrative oversight in urban governance and facilitating key developmental initiatives in Kurukshetra.
This order also relieves Shri Vikas Gupta, IAS (2001 batch), from the previously held charge.
Shri Arun Kumar Gupta continues to contribute significantly to the state’s administrative leadership, with his expanded portfolio expected to further enhance governance efficiency and departmental coordination.
