HSBC India has appointed Arun Kumar as Vice President – Corporate Business Development, based in Chennai, strengthening its corporate banking leadership team. In his new role, Arun will be responsible for driving corporate sales, business development initiatives, and strengthening client relationships across key corporate segments.
With over 16 years of experience in the financial services industry, Arun brings strong expertise in corporate banking, relationship management, and revenue growth. He has previously held leadership roles at ICICI Bank, Standard Chartered, Citi India, IIFL, ICICI Securities, and Tata Capital, gaining wide exposure across banking and financial services.
Prior to joining HSBC India, Arun served as Branch Head and Key Account Manager at ICICI Bank, where he led corporate salary account acquisitions, managed high-performing teams, and successfully drove cross-selling initiatives. His appointment reflects HSBC India’s continued focus on expanding its corporate banking presence and strengthening its leadership bench in India.
