India’s Largest Drone Innovation Challenge ‘NIDAR’ Launched to Boost UAV Research & Development

National Innovation Challenge for Drone Application & Research (NIDAR)
India’s biggest Drone Innovation Challenge launched! In presence of Chairman All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) Prof. (Dr.)Sitharam T.G & industrial leaders, S Krishnan, Secretary, MeitY, today inaugurated the National Innovation Challenge for Drone Application & Research (NIDAR) organized by Drone Federation India (DFI) as part of project hashtag#SwaYaan – Capacity Building for HRD in UAS/Drone & related technology.
During the launch, S Krishnan unveiled the official concept video of the challenge, launched its website and registration portal (https://nidar.org.in), and released the NIDAR Poster and RuleBook. The launch was joined online by Government representatives, industry experts, and students from across the nation. Over 100 student teams from higher education institutions across the country are expected to participate, presenting innovative solutions aimed at addressing pressing challenges in agriculture and disaster response.
