Indiaโs leading airline, IndiGo, has announced the appointment of Vikram Singh Mehta as its new Chairman. The decision marks a strategic move aimed at further strengthening the companyโs leadership and governance framework.
Vikram Singh Mehta, a distinguished business leader with extensive experience in the energy and infrastructure sectors, brings a wealth of knowledge and global perspective to the airline. Prior to this role, he served as the Executive Chairman of Brookings India and held leadership positions at Shell India and the Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW).
The board expressed confidence in Mehtaโs vision and expertise, stating that his appointment will support IndiGoโs continued growth, innovation, and commitment to operational excellence.
