The Madhya Pradesh government has transferred Kartikey Jaiswal, IAS, and appointed him as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Zila Panchayat Sheopur, as part of a major administrative reshuffle involving 32 IAS officers.
A 2022-batch IAS officer, Jaiswal was serving as Sub-Divisional Officer (Revenue), Waraseoni, Balaghat, before his latest posting. His move to Sheopur marks a transition from sub-divisional administration to a key district-level development role.
As CEO of Zila Panchayat Sheopur, Jaiswal will oversee the implementation of rural development programmes, Panchayati Raj initiatives and various government welfare schemes across the district. The position also involves coordinating development activities with local administrative bodies and ensuring effective delivery of public services.
Jaiswal succeeds Saumya Anand, who has been transferred and appointed CEO, Zila Panchayat Sidhi. The latest changes are part of a broader restructuring covering Zila Panchayat CEOs, municipal commissioners, deputy secretaries and other field-level administrative positions across Madhya Pradesh.
The new assignment gives Jaiswal an important field-level responsibility and places him in charge of driving rural development and administrative coordination in Sheopur.
