Shri Mukesh Chandra Sahu, IAS (Assam-Meghalaya 1996 batch), has been promoted to the post of Additional Chief Secretary for the Women and Child Development Department and the Welfare of Bodoland Department in Assam, at the HAG scale.
Currently serving as the Principal Secretary of both departments, Sahu has played a key role in implementing policies and initiatives aimed at the welfare of women, children, and the Bodoland region. His promotion recognizes his extensive experience in administrative leadership and his contributions to governance and social development in Assam.
As Additional Chief Secretary, Sahu will now hold a higher administrative rank, strengthening the strategic planning and execution of welfare programs across the state.
