Hyderabad, June 16, 2025 — In a key bureaucratic reshuffle, senior IAS officer Navin Mittal has been appointed as the Principal Secretary of the Energy Department, Government of Telangana. He takes over the role after serving as Principal Secretary, Revenue Department, where he played a pivotal role in modernising land records and streamlining revenue administration.
The move is part of the state government’s ongoing efforts to strengthen leadership in critical departments and accelerate infrastructure development. Known for his administrative acumen and technology-driven reforms, Mittal’s transition to the Energy Department is expected to bring renewed focus on efficiency, renewable energy integration, and project execution.
