The Odisha government has appointed Pradeep Kumar Jena as the new Chairman of the Odisha Electricity Regulatory Commission (OERC). Jena, a retired IAS officer, takes over the crucial role of overseeing the state’s power sector regulations and policies.
Jena, who previously served as the Chief Secretary of Odisha, brings vast administrative experience in governance and infrastructure development. His leadership in various government departments, including energy and disaster management, has been widely recognized.
