Lucknow, April 25, 2025: Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIM Lucknow) is pleased to announce that Professor M.P. Gupta has officially assumed office as the Director of the institute. A distinguished academician and a visionary leader, Prof. Gupta brings with him a wealth of experience in management education, research, and institutional development.
Prior to joining IIM Lucknow, Prof. Gupta served as the Professor and former Head of the Department of Management Studies at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi. His areas of expertise include e-governance, information systems, and digital transformation, and he has been widely recognized for his significant contributions to both academic and policy-making circles.
Prof. Gupta has also been instrumental in shaping the discourse around digital governance in India. With an impressive record of research publications, leadership in academic forums, and deep involvement in strategic policy initiatives, his appointment is expected to usher in a new era of growth and excellence for IIM Lucknow.
