Mahendra Singh Tanwar, a senior IAS officer, officially assumed charge as the new District Magistrate (DM) of Kushinagar on Thursday. With a reputation for administrative efficiency and a strong track record of public service, Tanwar is expected to bring fresh momentum to the district’s governance and development initiatives.
Upon taking charge, Tanwar met with key officials from various departments and reviewed ongoing projects, especially those related to infrastructure, health, and education. He emphasized the importance of transparent governance, timely implementation of government schemes, and prompt redressal of public grievances.
He visited the District Collectorate and interacted with employees, encouraging them to work with dedication and integrity. Tanwar highlighted the need for better inter-departmental coordination and urged officials to maintain an open-door policy for citizens.
Before his posting in Kushinagar, Mahendra Singh Tanwar served in several key positions across Uttar Pradesh, where he was recognized for innovative administrative practices and people-centric initiatives.
