Jaipur, Rajasthan – The Government of Rajasthan has announced the transfer and appointment of Shri Shakar Datt Sharma, IPS (Rajasthan Cadre – 2011) as Deputy Director, Rajasthan Police Academy, Jaipur.
Prior to this appointment, Shri Sharma was serving as Superintendent of Police, Housing, Headquarters, Jaipur, where he played a key role in overseeing housing infrastructure and related administrative functions for the state police force.
As Deputy Director of the Rajasthan Police Academy, Jaipur, Shri Sharma will be responsible for contributing to the training, skill enhancement, and professional development of police personnel across the state. His appointment comes at a time when capacity building and modernisation of police training methodologies are a key focus for the state’s law enforcement agencies.
This transfer and new role reflect the state government’s commitment to strengthening institutional leadership within Rajasthan’s police training framework.
