Srini Rao has been promoted to the role of Managing Director, Infrastructure Solutions Group at Lenovo India, marking a significant expansion of his leadership responsibilities within the organisation’s enterprise technology business.
In his new role, Srini will lead strategy, growth, and execution for Lenovo India’s Infrastructure Solutions Group. His mandate includes strengthening the company’s presence across infrastructure, data centre, and enterprise solutions, as Lenovo continues to scale its portfolio for large and mid-sized organisations in the Indian market.
Prior to this promotion, Srini Rao served as Director of Presales for the Infrastructure Solutions Group, where he played a key role in driving customer engagement, solution architecture, and technical leadership across complex enterprise accounts. His work supported large-scale infrastructure deployments and contributed to strengthening Lenovo’s position among enterprise customers.
With over two decades of experience in enterprise technology, Srini brings deep expertise across presales leadership, systems engineering, and solution consulting. His career spans senior leadership roles at Dell Technologies and Hitachi Vantara, where he worked closely with enterprise clients to deliver complex infrastructure, storage, and data-driven solutions.
Known for his customer-centric approach and ability to build high-performing teams, Srini has consistently delivered strong business outcomes across his leadership roles. His promotion reflects Lenovo’s focus on leadership continuity, internal talent development, and long-term strategic execution.
With Srini Rao Lenovo India now leading the Infrastructure Solutions Group as Managing Director, the company is expected to further strengthen its enterprise infrastructure strategy and expand its footprint in India’s evolving data centre and enterprise technology landscape.
