India AI Impact Summit 2026 Spotlights AI for ALL Challenge

The second day of the India AI Impact Summit 2026 focused on the AI for ALL: Global Impact Challenge, a flagship initiative of the IndiaAI Mission designed to fast-track AI-driven solutions for widespread societal benefits in key sectors. This challenge supports India’s vision of inclusive and sustainable AI development, guided by the principles of People, Planet, and Progress. It encourages global innovators, including students, researchers, startups, and enterprises, to submit practical ideas for urban infrastructure, agriculture, climate sustainability, healthcare, education, and financial inclusion. In collaboration with Startup India and Digital India Bhashini Division, it received numerous entries judged by experts, selecting top performers such as Infiheal Healthtech,
EQUITWIN by Infosys Health, Helium Health, Resilience360, SatSure’s Farm Score, Wysa’s
mental health AI, Kidaura Innovations, MadhuNetrAI for diabetic retinopathy, CarbGeM Inc., and Biome Makers’ BeCrop soil platform.
A key panel discussion, “Leveraging AI to Drive Development Objectives in the Global South,” brought together leaders like Gaurav Jha from Boston Consulting Group, Tomoyuki Yamada from JICA, Mudit Kumar from Ideabaaz, Courtney O’Donnell from Anthropic, Karan Mohla from B Capital, and Ramanan Ramanathan from IndiaAI, who emphasized the importance of design partners, quality datasets, public-private linkages, open platforms, and robust trust mechanisms for scaling ethical AI applications.
Finalists will present at the Summit’s Grand Finale and Awards Ceremony, where winners
can secure up to INR 2.50 crore in funding along with mentorship, pilot opportunities, and partnerships to drive deployment at national and international levels. The event effectively connects AI innovation discussions to actionable outcomes for equitable and sustainable progress.
