The Ayush Pavilion at the India, AI Impact Summit 2026 has become a major draw, showcasing citizen-centric AI innovations that seamlessly blend India’s traditional health systems with advanced digital technologies. Inaugurated by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on 16 February 2025, the summit carries the theme “Sarvajana Hitaya, Sarvajana Sukhaya, Welfare for All, Happiness for All,” emphasizing AI’s role in fostering inclusive growth, human-centric innovation, and global good as the first major AI event hosted in the Global South. The Ministry of Ayush’s pavilion highlights the Ayush Grid, India’s flagship digital public health platform for traditional medicine, with the My Ayush Integrated Services Portal (MAISP) serving as its core, launched by the Prime Minister at the Second WHO Global Summit on Traditional Medicine to unify services, R&D, education, and outreach.
Union Minister of State Shri Prataprao Jadhav and Secretary Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha have
voiced strong support for integrating traditional knowledge with responsible AI, positioning
tools like Ayush Grid to enhance transparency, accessibility, and evidence-based healthcare
aligned with the Prime Minister’s vision of welfare for all. Visitors are engaging with live
demos of AI-powered chatbots, a Yoga Posture AI system using computer vision for precise
asana correction, and prototypes for clinical decision support across Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani,
Siddha, and more.
The pavilion also spotlights IIT Jodhpur’s Centre of Excellence, featuring interactive kiosks on digital health research, WHO collaborations, and global AI frameworks for traditional medicine, alongside IndiaAI’s Innovation Challenge, launched on 15 January 2026 with a ₹5.25 crore prize pool and potential government contracts, open until 22 February 2026. Overall, the Ministry of Ayush is advancing a technology-driven, globally connected ecosystem where AI promotes equitable health progress for everyone.
