Jammu & Kashmir IT Department Launches ‘Digital Dhara’, Its First In-House Magazine

Marking a significant step towards fostering knowledge exchange and digital awareness, the IT Department of Jammu & Kashmir has introduced its first in-house magazine, Digital Dhara.
The inaugural edition was formally unveiled by the Chief Secretary of Jammu & Kashmir in the presence of the CEO of the India AI Mission and senior administrative leadership, highlighting the importance of the initiative within the government ecosystem.
Digital Dhara is envisioned as a bi-monthly publication that will capture key developments in digital governance, showcase innovative initiatives across departments, and provide insights into emerging technologies shaping the region’s digital future.
The launch comes at a time when Jammu & Kashmir is accelerating its digital transformation journey, with increasing focus on enhancing citizen services, adopting AI-driven solutions, and strengthening digital public infrastructure.
