Global cybersecurity leader Palo Alto Networks has announced its intent to acquire Embrace, a leading provider of user-focused observability, in a strategic move to integrate high-fidelity Real User Monitoring (RUM) capabilities into the Palo Alto Networks Observability platform.
In addition to the planned acquisition, Palo Alto Networks introduced Synthetics, a proactive application performance validation feature built by its Autonomous Digital Experience Management (ADEM) team. Together, these additions extend the company’s core platform into full-scale Digital Experience Monitoring (DEM).
Unifying the Digital Stack
As modern applications become increasingly complex and autonomous, enterprise operations require complete performance visibility to maintain system reliability. Legacy monitoring tools often operate in silos, creating visibility gaps when end-user workflows fail.

Platform Momentum & Transaction Details
The announcement highlights rapid expansion across Palo Alto Networks’ Observability suite. Following the acquisition of Chronosphere in January 2026, the division surpassed $300 million in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) in Q3 FY26. The platform was also recognized as a Leader in the Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Observability Platforms for the third consecutive year.
The proposed acquisition of Embrace remains subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to close during Palo Alto Networks’ first quarter of fiscal 2027.
