Razorpay, one of India’s leading full-stack fintech companies, has appointed Mrityunjoy Das as its Director – Domestic Payments (Strategic Accounts). In this role, he will be responsible for expanding the domestic payments ecosystem, strengthening enterprise partnerships, and driving strategic growth initiatives.
With more than a decade of experience in fintech and digital payments, Das brings deep expertise in enterprise sales, cross-border transactions, and client success. Prior to joining Razorpay, he was associated with PayU, where he served in multiple leadership roles including Director – Sales, Director – Travel & Enterprise Vertical, and Associate Director – Travel & Enterprise Vertical. His tenure at PayU saw him spearhead growth in enterprise accounts, enhance payment solutions for large-scale clients, and contribute to strategic planning for key industry verticals.
Das began his career with Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Co. Ltd in direct sales and went on to gain diverse experience across industries with Global Vision (Events), Info Edge India Ltd (Digital Services), and PayU (Fintech). His journey reflects consistent growth across insurance, events, digital services, and financial technology, underscoring his versatility and leadership in managing dynamic, high-growth sectors.
At Razorpay, Das is expected to leverage his proven track record in client engagement, enterprise strategy, and cross-functional leadership to further solidify the company’s position in India’s rapidly evolving digital payments landscape.
