Nadda Inaugurates Advantage Health Care India 2026 Summit

India’s healthcare sector is undergoing transformative reforms to build a resilient, quality-driven ecosystem, according to a Press Information Bureau release (PRID: 2231791). Union Health Minister Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda virtually inaugurated the 8th ‘Advantage Health Care – India 2026’ summit organised by FICCI in New Delhi on February 23, 2026, commending its role in positioning India as a global medical value travel (MVT) hub.
Nadda highlighted India’s clinical excellence across cardiology, oncology, transplants, orthopaedics, and neurosciences, powered by advanced technology, digital health integration, and rigorous quality standards, according to PIB. He noted strong inter-ministerial coordination, accreditation efforts, and state government support, viewing MVT as both an economic opportunity and a bridge for international goodwill.
Minister of State Shri Prataprao Jadhav echoed the need for cross-border collaboration, technological synergy, and knowledge exchange in healthcare’s borderless domain, according to the PIB release. India’s holistic model blends modern medicine, digital innovation, pharmaceutical strength, and AYUSH traditions to deliver sustainable, patient-centric outcomes.
The two-day summit fosters dialogue on patient mobility, regulatory alignment, investment prospects, and trends like AI diagnostics and telemedicine, according to PIB. An accompanying exhibition featured leading hospitals, diagnostics providers, MedTech firms, pharma giants, wellness centres, and service platforms, drawing ministry officials, industry leaders, policymakers, and international delegates.
According to the PIB release, the event underscores India’s ascent as a premier MVT destination, combining world-class expertise with compassionate care delivery to meet global healthcare demands.
